Is Nestara a 55+ age-restricted community?
Yes. Nestara at Shannon Parkway is an age qualified community requiring at least one resident in each home to be 55 or older. All other permanent residents must be at least 21 years of age. No person under the age of 21 may reside in the community except as a temporary guest in accordance with community guest policies.
What is included in the monthly rent?
Rent includes access to all community amenities like fitness center, clubhouse, grilling areas, social areas, pet washing station, and common area WiFi.
Are pets allowed?
Yes — Nestara is pet-friendly. Two pets per home are welcome, with breed and weight guidelines available upon request. A dedicated pet washing station is on-site.
Is there a community fee?
Yes. To provide a seamless, worry-free living experience, Nestara charges a $99 monthly community convenience fee. This fee includes high-speed internet, valet trash service, and routine maintenance assistance for everyday items such as light bulbs, batteries, air filters, and other minor resident needs.
Can I rent or do I have to own?
Nestara is a rental community — all cottage homes are available on flexible lease terms, with no long-term ownership commitment required.

Nestara is approximately 10 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta, with quick access to I-85 and I-285.
